The Saint Thomas More Club “Fr. Pete” Endowment was set up by former Saint Thomas More Club members to provide for the mission of Maria House Project.
With a desire to honor a priest who had specially guided and inspired her, Ruthanne Beighley established an endowment in his name. She chose as beneficiaries the three parishes he served and the parish ministries he "fostered and loved very much."
Sister Benita Repasky, late in her religious life, felt she had a calling to minister to the poor in the Shenango Valley. More than 35 years later, the Prince of Peace Center in Farrell that she founded has grown tremendously. In 2018 the Board of Directors at Prince of Peace Center created an endowment in her name.
Tom and Chris Loftus wanted to do something meaningful to help ease the challenges faced by their community's indigent population. "Money invested where Catholic principles are going to be applied," was meaningful to them. The endowment they established in the Catholic Foundation will provide resources in perpetuity to the work of Catholic Charities.
