The Catholic Foundation helps parishes throughout northwest Pennsylvania sustain and grow their mission. Twenty-one parishes in the Diocese of Erie have endowments with the Catholic Foundation. In 2019, distributions were made to several parishes.

The Mary Fabrizio McCarthy Education Endowment provides tuition assistance to students all throughout Northwestern Pennsylvania. In 2019, the endowment granted $5,000 to the Diocese of Erie to assist students in grades one through eight.
